#NoPalmOilChristmas
Iceland’s Banned TV Christmas Advert... Say hello to Rang-tan. #NoPalmOilChristmas
We thought we would adopt the banned Iceland advert, just to help give it maximum exposure.
Check it out here and see what you think?
We agree with the context of this tale as Palm Oil is used in so many products we use and eat.
Most of us are concerned about our planet, and Iceland have decided to show that they are trying to improve their supply chain by removing palm oil from their own products, and at the same time, raise awareness to the public for the plight of orangutans and deforestation.
At Fferal, we try to eliminate any additives that are environmentally unsafe, and we do not use palm oil in any of our products.
Like Fferal, Iceland have also banned plastic packing on their own brand foods. We do not use plastic, except for our recycled mail bags. We also do not use swing tags or labels as they are an unnecessary resource and end up in landfill.
We have never shopped in Iceland, but we think it's definitely worth checking out, and support their christmas message in full!
